Dr. Jiang Yong graduated from the Biology Department of Jianghan University in 1989. He then obtained his Master's degree in Plant Physiology from the College of Life Sciences at Wuhan University in 1994, and subsequently received a Doctor of Science degree from the Institute of Botany and the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1997. 

In 1999, he joined the laboratory of Professor Donald Helinski at the University of California, San Diego, USA, where he engaged in molecular microbiology research. In 2004, he was appointed as an Assistant Researcher. 

Since 2013, he has served as the Chief Executive Officer of America Diagnosis, Inc., primarily focusing on the research, development, production, and sales of in vitro diagnostic kits for proteins and nucleic acids. He is responsible for designing and overseeing the development and production of genotyping platforms and associated personalized medication kits.
